EXAMINATION & EVALUATION SYSTEM

  • Continuous and comprehensive evaluation and grade system, as per the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has been included in the examination pattern. The syllabi of class wise subjects will be distributed equally all over the available periods in a year. There will be exam through competence based classroom approach. The total pattern is based on learner centric and task-specific participating approach.
  • Evaluation would be comprising of 2 unit / block test, a Half Yearly and Annual Examination.
  • It is obligatory for all students to attend all evaluation examination.
  • Continuous Evaluation (C.E) will be assessed throughout the year.
  • If a student is absent during exam, no retest is held.
  • In order to qualfiy for promotion, candidates must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each of the subjects.
  • The promotion is decided by a composite body of teachers and the decision of the Principal is final on this matter.
  • A student will not normally be allowed to appear for final examination if he/she has not put in a minimum of 90% of the total attendance in the academic session.
  • The students name will be struck off from the school, if he /she fails to qualify in the same class for two consecutive years.
  • Defaulters will not be allowed to sit for the final exam.
